Piano Lessons: Student Testimonials

"I like the people I do lessons with. Becca makes it so easy because she’s kind. Becca always throws in some fun games that fit my level (nice challenge!). The work is sometimes a challenge but when Becca comes she makes it a lot easier."

Accelerated Piano Programme

Piano Lessons With a Difference

Piano Lessons are 60 minutes long and run weekly during the East Sussex term time. Tuition is £62.50 per month, due by the 1st of each month. August has no lessons however we often offer holiday camps.

Students receive 1-1 tuition and personalised guidance, in a group setting. Each student has their own weighted full-length digital piano and uses headphones. Groups range from 3-5 people - we don't currently exceed 5 students per lesson.

This lesson format is suitable for beginners to intermediates. All music is learnt at the lesson, taking pressure off at home. Whilst home practise is not essential it certainly boosts progress.

Whilst students have their own unique individual lessons, learning alongside like-minded peers aids motivation and builds community, as well as creating opportunities for peer-to-peer performances.

An important part of our Accelerated Piano Program is independent time apart from the teacher to “get it right”. What this means is, the teacher will guide the student through a specific activity, and then give them time on their own to work it out. This is always a task within the student's capabilities. This method of teaching reduces anxiety & improves confidence.

As part of monthly tuition, students will receive access to an iPad during lessons for educational apps & backing tracks.
